Questions about profile auditing
How does the app connect with Klaviyo?
The app uses Klaviyo OAuth. You do not need to paste a private API key, and you can disconnect the account from the app settings.
What profiles does it audit?
It audits profiles that already exist in the authorized Klaviyo account. It does not block forms or checkouts before a profile is created.
How does it calculate risk?
It uses explainable profile-level signals such as disposable-domain matches, unusual email patterns, generic or incomplete profile data, repeated values, high-volume creation windows, and available subscription metadata. A result is a review signal, not absolute proof.
Does the app block real customers?
No. It does not block customers, checkouts, or forms. Suppression only happens after the merchant selects profiles and confirms the action.
Does suppression permanently delete a profile?
No. The current version uses Klaviyo suppression to prevent marketing sends. It does not implement permanent deletion.
Does the app guarantee savings?
No. It shows an estimate based on configurable assumptions. The actual result depends on Klaviyo billing level, message volume, country, SMS usage, and account thresholds.
Do I need to modify my theme?
No. The app operates from Shopify Admin and backend APIs. It does not require Liquid files or storefront scripts.
Does the app configure SPF, DKIM, or DMARC?
No. Domain authentication must be configured separately using Klaviyo's instructions and your DNS provider.
